Privacy policy
What we collect on assaya.co, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Effective 3 October 2026
This policy covers the Assaya website at assaya.co. Documents and data that our customers send to the Assaya service are handled under each customer's agreement with us: we process them only on the customer's behalf and under its instructions.
What we collect
- Demo requests. When you use the form on our demo page, we receive your name, work email, company and team, by email and as a copy kept privately on our web host.
- Server logs. Like any website, our web host records your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and when. We use these logs only to run and secure the site.
- Abuse prevention. To stop repeated automated submissions, the demo form keeps a hashed form of the sending IP address together with the times of recent requests.
- Security checks. Our web host protects the site with Cloudflare, which checks visits for automated abuse. To do this, Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser details and may set security cookies that record that your browser passed its check. These cookies aren't used for advertising or to track you across other sites.
- Fonts. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when you visit. Google's use of that information is covered by Google's privacy policy.
Apart from those security cookies, we don't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers on this site.
How we use it
- To reply to your request, arrange a demo and follow up with you about Assaya.
- To operate the website and protect it from abuse.
- To meet legal obligations.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that work on our behalf, such as our web host, its security service (Cloudflare) and our email provider. They may use the information only to provide their service to us.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
- A successor, if Assaya is merged, acquired or sells its assets. This policy would continue to apply to information collected under it.
How long we keep it
We keep demo requests and related emails for as long as we're in contact with you about Assaya, and delete them within 24 months of our last contact unless you become a customer or the law requires us to keep them. Server logs are kept for the period set by our web host.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can stop follow-up emails at any time by replying to say so. Depending on where you live, for example in California, you may have further rights under local law. We'll respond within the time the law requires and won't treat you differently for making a request.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. Demo requests go only to the people at Assaya who handle them.
Children
This site is for businesses. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Where your information is processed
Our website and email are hosted in the United States.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
